Welcome to the 49th annual Santa’s Art Shop Arts & Craft Show, located at the Desert Empire Fairgrounds in Ridgecrest, California. Santa’s Art Shop features over 150 Exhibitors selling original arts, crafts & food.

Each year, more than nine thousand enthusiastic holiday shoppers visit Santa’s Art Shop; making it the largest and most popular 2-day show in the area.

We have a total of just over 25,000 square feet of indoor space and over 4,000 square feet of outdoor space along the Midway for you to attractively showcase your wares.

Publicity for this event is widespread, covering parts of Central and Southern California.

Show Days

Saturday, December 5th, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Sunday, December 6th, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Set-up Days

Friday, December 4th, 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Saturday, December 5th, 6:00 am – 8:00 pm

Approximately 1-2 weeks prior to the show, exhibitors will receive details via email regarding: vehicle parking, and other check-in information.

Show Categories

Santa’s Art Shop is open to selected original arts and crafts, hand-made arts and crafts sold by agents, as well as cottage industry crafts.

To be an Exhibitor

All exhibitors must email the application, Seller’s Permit, and copy of Insurance certificate. If accepted, an invoice will be emailed for payment. If not accepted, we will inform you by email.

75% of items displayed and for sale must be handcrafted by the vendor. Any market or mass-produced items are unacceptable and may not be sold at this show. The spirit of this show is that you are selling arts and crafts made by yourself.

Santa’s Art Shop operates on a flat fee basis with no commissions.

Participation in this show is solely at the discretion of the Santa’s Art Shop review committee.

First-time exhibitors must email photographs of their artwork and or craft.

To be a Food Vendor

All Food Vendors must complete and email: the application, and a copy of their Temporary Food Health Permit and Certificate of Insurance. To get a Temporary Food Health Permit contact:

Policy coverage amount $1 million per occurrence.
Additionally insured as follows:
“Santa’s Art Shop, it’s employees, board members, agents, and volunteers. Desert Empire Fairgrounds, it’s officers, board members, and agents.”

Deadlines:

Applications are welcome until November 15th. Any applications coming in after November 15th will be placed on a waiting list in case any cancellations occur. Food Vendor application health permits must be in no later than November 15, 2025.

Cancellations:

All exhibitors are subject to cancellation charges as follows:

Cancellations through September 15th of the current show year will be refunded, minus a $50 cancellation/processing fee.
No refunds will be made or accepted on processed applications after September 15th.
A refund will be processed within two weeks from the date the request is received.
